007: FOR KING AND COUNTRY #5 sets Bonds plan in motion to bring down Fromm and Myrmidon for good in the penultimate issue. Johnson expertly builds an atmosphere of tense paranoia when everyone on Bonds team may be a traitor, and the art is slick and gritty. Read Full Review
Even as a casual James Bond fan at best, and even with 007 survival assured for future adventures, I find myself determined to learn how this clash of ideologies resolves itself and whether there's anything left of the relationship caught in the crossfires. Read Full Review

James Bond is one of the quintessentially British icons, and should be celebrated as such. Phillip Kennedy Johnson has the unenviable task of trying to morph the various versions of Bond, be it book or movies, into a cohesive character, whilst creating a sort of timeless period that could be past or present; that is, I think is the biggest achievement in Kennedy's writing and plotting.
