Overall though. This is a fun first issue, which does a superlative job of capturing the spirit of both Xena Warrior Princess and Ash and Army Of Darkness. I look foreword to seeing how things pan out in the second issue. Read Full Review
There was a time when I would've stuck my nose up at the idea of a crossover like this but dammit if these "Army of Darkness" books are better than they have any right to be. Lobdell balances the personalities of his distinct cast and Fernandez's layouts are superb, making full use of page and insets to guide the action. Read Full Review
Its the plot here that might get this comic in trouble with some readers, sincewell, there isnt much of one at all. I wasnt really bothered, personally; I knew what I was in for as soon as I saw the cover. Its just dumb good fun, as all such crossovers should be. Read Full Review
