I particularly liked all the backstory that we get in this issue as well. Backstory in which we learn that she was abused as a child and wound up in an abusive relationship before she moved to New York and became a glamour model. Read Full Review
Invasion of the Body Snatchers in its various forms are some of my favorite movies so the fun of a Bettie Snatchers storyline is right up my alley. Avallone is having a lot of fun here as it's playing pretty straight into classic horror of the day while Baal, stepping in on the artwork here, captures the surreal aspects really well. It's weird and quirky and I'm not sure how the whole thing is going to go but I know it's going to have some great fashion, action, and some hilariously over the top lines at times. Read Full Review
It is hard to tell where this story came from or is going as you are dropped into the middle of it. From what I read here I would probably not be bothered picking up any of the other issues. Unless you are a super Bettie Page fan I would probably not recommend it and then you would have plenty of other stuff she is in. Read Full Review
