In "The Ballad of Ak" we follow the rapid rise and fall of Ak, a chief's assistant who is bullied and disrespected by the rest of his tribe. And in "Legendary", the misadventures of Muttonchomp and his goblin dog are proclaimed by the campfire. This is a tale of a goblin's meteoric rise to infamy alongside his 'faithful' companion!
The stories are, both, fantastic. They are funny, smart, and more. It's like they took a story format and added the Goblin ideals and attitudes into them. It works and I think that is why this series works. The authors give the same stories with a different twist. This issue is no different. Read Full Review
Not a bad last issue, with an exceptional first story and a so-so second. The art throughout this book is a joy to look at and while the second story wasn't my favorite, it still gets the job done. Goblins are moronic little creatures, but if this series has taught me anything, it's that they deserve to tell their stories, however despicable or unbelievable they may be. Read Full Review
