Major Spoilers - Stephen Schleicher Jan 15, 2015

Though I'm deep into the series, and don't know exactly what has occurred before, Gail Simone and Walter Geovani's tale grabs you. The horror of the big bad, the fight scene in the forest, and the final panel cliffhanger are superbly done. Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Josh Begley Jan 23, 2015

Red Sonja 14 is another great issue in a consistently solid, thoughtful, and entertaining book. Although knowing that Simone will be leaving makes it a bit bittersweet, I'm still enjoying the ride and am happy that I've been reading it since the first issue. As always, check it out. Two pages of erroneous font is not enough to collapse my love of this book. This is the perfect team for Sonja's exploits as they show in this issue. If you haven't had the pleasure of reading this series, start here. Sonjacontinues todazzle and terrify with this creative team. Read Full Review

So yes, Gail Simone and Team Red Sonja definitely built on the potential displayed last month. Talking about last issue I posited that this may be the most interesting arc of this series to date. This month, I daresay that this may just be a masterpiece in the making. I cant wait to see the consequences and repercussions of this issue that come along next month. Read Full Review

Unleash The Fanboy - Harrison Rawdin Jan 22, 2015

Red Sonja #14 features an arc that cuts right to the core of who our She-Devil is. And the creative team, to their credit, handles that smoothly with a piece that comes recommended. Read Full Review

Good Kind Of Geek - Nikki Yuan Jan 22, 2015

Overall, the issue does a good job at showing how deadly the curse really is. However, it can be a bit slow compares to how a Red Sonja book usually is. It's interesting to see how the story will turn out, and I still have high hope for this particular arc. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - James Anders II Jan 21, 2015

A perfect storm is beginning to brew with this arc. Sonja can't seem to control the curse of unforgiveness that is slowly sapping her soul. A hard core baddie is on the hunt to take down the She Devil and finish the job that was started with this curse rendering. And, the ultimate focal point of Sonja's everything. The actual man who dropped her family in a merciless way is now in her crosshairs and it is looking that the term "terminate with extreme prejudice" might be getting ready to occur. This guy will be lucky if he dies fast. It all adds up to a good and entertaining smash up issue that continues to bring down the thunder. It might not quite be up to some of the series best, but it damn sure is dark and it is bringing a new level of emotion that has not yet been experienced in this series to date. Read Full Review

    IGN - Jeff Lake Jan 21, 2015

Gail Simone again gets the most out of these adventures, introducing a new adversary sorely in need of a good punch or three. Unfortunately, the arc's initial premise doesn't fare quite so well this time around. Read Full Review
