The first of The Boys' two concluding stories begins with a bang, as Vought-American's plans for the White House are pre-empted in nothing short of spectacular style. Butcher prepares for war with the Homelander while MM finally loses it completely- in part 1 of the 6-part "Over the Hill with the Swords of a Thousand Men".
The end is coming. You can really feel it in the story and the way the tension and finality of everyone's actions are being portrayed. I was sad when I read the first page. Read Full Review
As always, The Boys seems to have this magical way of disguising amazingly good plot within some truly stupid sequencing; it's gotten to that point where I've accepted that everyone in the story's world is a complete and total douche, and unlikely to change. Read Full Review
