High above the streets of New York City, Hughie and Butcher reach the end of the line. There's blood to be spilled and truth to be heard. The last Boys storyline reaches its conclusion, in the sixth and final part of The Bloody Doors Off. 1 issue till the end!!!
Next issue is sadly, our last addition to this series. I can't get over how attached I got to all the characters. Instantaneously, this series grabs your attention and you lose yourself in this outrageous world. It's been exciting, intriguing, hilarious, and downright revolting but all in all, I've truly enjoyed this series. I give this issue a 10/10. Read Full Review
As the police approach the two, Butcher is forced to use Hughie for one last task. Going from calm to professional to downright sinister in the span of 3 pages, Butcher manipulates Hughie into doing something neither Hughie or anyone else would think him capable of. It was a sad issue but one which was essential in defining Hughie's purpose; just like Black Noir was the fail-safe to Homelander, so was Hughie to Butcher and he eventually served his purpose. To be frank this issue was one which hits you straight in the heart. Great closure to an epic series. Well done Ennis.
