Jim Butcher's worldwide bestselling Dresden Files saga continues in this original limited series! Set in the aftermath of the novel White Night and comic series Down Town, a bizarre double murder draws the interest of Chicago's only wizard for hire. But as Harry Dresden begins his investigation, the clues lead to troubling conclusions about the possible perpetrator, and set him on a path that will place him in the middle of a conflict between the city's three most powerful factions-a conflict that could engulf all of Chicago!
When there's a new Dresden comic from Dynamite you should run to get it! This faithfully continues the wizard detective's adventures beyond the books with superior story and art. Highest possible recommendation. Read Full Review

This book has great art and solid writing, though it's not particularly accessible for new readers. And it's set quite a bit before the most recent Dresden Files novels. This is a very enjoyable start to the series with an interesting premise and well written characters that I look forward to seeing take the next step in their adventure. There isn't really anything I can truly pick fault with, and I look forward to seeing where the story goes next. Read Full Review
All in all, I was impressed with the first issue of Jim Butchers The Dresden Files: Wild Card (Thats a mouthful), yes it has a lot going on before it, but dont let that put you off. Step into this tale and you will feel richly rewarded as the creative team do seem to be taking some care to allow new readers a chance to enjoy a new Harry Dresden story. Read Full Review
Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files: Wild Card #1 is a solid debut issue. The story is well balanced with an intriguing investigation, interesting and complex characters, and a good use of levity. However, the artwork could use some work. A finer attention to detail and cleaning up the character design for the villain are something to improve on moving forward. If you are looking for a good supernatural read, check this one out. Read Full Review
