Monkeys Fighting Robots - Darryll Robson Aug 20, 2025

Although this is a deeply disturbing comic, definitely not for the faint of heart, it is an exceptional work of horror. It bridges the gap between psychological and physical horror, as well as translating a cinematic experience into a comic book event. Read Full Review

We've got a solid introduction here, and I think anyone with a taste for space horror might find a lovely case of the creeps in this title. Bring on issue 2! It did take me a little bit to really focus, but once I did, I greatly enjoyed it and look forward to seeing things get worse. Read Full Review

Comic Watch - Theron Couch Aug 21, 2025

Event Horizon: Dark Descent is obviously a prequel series to the cult sci-fi horror movie. And yet Event Horizon: Dark Descent #1 is surprisingly accessible. No knowledge of the movie is required to get into the story, but certainly readers familiar with the movie will find the issue more rewarding, of course. Either way, fans of sci-fi horror series should absolutely pick this up. Read Full Review
