While many of you probably only have the funds for a handful of funny books, I sincerely hope you take some consideration in branching away from the typical fare that is offered. Don't get me wrong, I love super heroic adventures with colorful characters, but every so often it's great to read about a comedic robot built by Tesla or about doors that lead to wondrous new places. Locke & Key doesn't reveal enough potential, and suffers from a few simple storytelling flaws, but it is thoroughly engaging, from its strong character dynamics to the future it only hints at. A cool introduction issue. It took me a little while to catch on but I really enjoy the art and the story appears to be off to a good start although there is still a lot of questions to be answered.
