The once-quiet town of Transylvania, Kentucky is under attack from Cadillacula, an evil vampire-car that sucks the gas out of other vehicles! The more victims he claims, the more powerful he gets. Genius mechanic Vic Frankenstein has a solution: build a monster to fight a monster. Vic and his android assistant iGOR (interactive Garage Operations Robot) assemble a giant truck from the pieces of the town's fallen vehicles. Frankenride is born, and the battle between good and evil hits the road!

Horror DNA - James Ferguson
Aug 02, 2014Monster Motors is the kind of fun, creative story that comics were made for. It's silly and easy for kids to pick up while also being smart enough for adults. This needs to be an ongoing title. I would gladly read about the monthly adventures of mechanic Vic Frankenstein in Transylvania as he battles monster cars. Wouldn't you? Read Full Review

Jul 23, 2014Monster Motors is a one-shot, but hopefully IDW decides to extend the warranty on this shiny new car. Lynch and company give classic characters an interesting twist that makes for a surprisingly good read. Read Full Review

Jul 23, 2014So, with Christmas not remotely around the corner, I plan on getting ahead of it, and grabbing about 10 copies of Monster Motors, so crazy-uncle Pete has a book to give the kids, and a few for the house for any other young visitors. Pick up some copies yourself, you wont be disappointed. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Samantha Roehrig
Jul 23, 2014Monster Motors is that comic that kids will love. The story is a simple read and the action is packed. I also think it so cool to take these old school monsters and reuse them in a different way. Maybe a kid would even open up Frankenstein by Shelley just to see how scary these guys can get. And don't think girls can't get into this comic too, because April comes along as Vic's sidekick and I have a feeling we will be seeing more of these two creating some crazy monsters.
