Lore has destroyed the multiverse, and its fate now lies in Benjamin Sisko's hands. But after the USS Theseus slingshots into the Celestial Temple, Sisko finds himself without his crew-or any technology-on Bronze-age Bajor. The ancient Bajorans don't know what to make of him: Is he a terrifying threat or the prophet they've been waiting for? If Sisko is to save life itself from the Orb of Destruction, he must first save himself...
OverallA strong issue that delves deep into the mythology of Sisko's role as the Emissary and how it ties into saving the multiverse. Sisko comes to the realization that building a new temple may be his best chance of returning home, defeating the Orb of Destruction, and putting an end to Lore's trail of chaos. I can't wait to see how it all gets resolved. Read Full Review
Fowler delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals are fantastic and I love the tone of the art and how it informs the mood of the story. Read Full Review
Overall Star Trek #28 is a necessary story and it dovetails effectively into Benjamin Sisko's experiences with the Bajoran Prophets. It is a quiet, contemplative, emotional journey, leagues away from some of the more recent action-oriented issues. Read Full Review
A work of deep beauty that would live with The Inner Light and The Visitor if it were live action.
