    If you thought IDW's Star Trek comics were bold before, you ain't seen nothin yet… Star Trek: The Last Starship heads into unknown territory for a thrilling new adventure featuring the creative talents of Hivemind writers Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly (Star Trek) and artist Adrin Bonilla (Alkaios). After reading an advance copy of this book, I can say that this is the perfect creative team to explore a strange time in the history of Star Trek AND one hell of a way to bring Captain Kirk back to the Star Trek universe. We are going to avoid spoilers since we are so far out from release, but the entire first chapter felt cinematic in nature and features some fantastic elements of Trek that had fallen through the cracks.
