Nov 27, 2018These TMNT: Macro-Series continue to be delightful. The Donatello issue was a great look into the character and the Michelangelo issue was perfect, and TMNT: Macro-Series Leonardo #3 continues that trend with some good storytelling and awesome art. These Macro-Series also feel worth the $7.99 price tag as well. The binding is nice and thick and the printing of the pages give a nicer feel to the issue. You also get a nice full story that makes it worth the extra cash. My favorite Turtle, Raphael, is coming up next and the creative team has some high marks to live up to, so I am excited for what the next Macro-Series brings to the table! Read Full Review

Full Disclosure, when I write a review or upload a video for the Youtube channel I usually go back and forth between reading the popular comic I'm supposed to be reading for the week and something else that has either been languishing in my backlog or that I've been putting aside that I know will be interesting for me to read. Yesterday my review was for Heroes in Crisis #4, which turned out to be a dud and today was the Leonardo Macro series that I had been sitting on for awhile. The latter issue as expected turned out to be the superior comic. Sadly it will never get the same amount of attention. Not enough readers even know that the IDW TMNT line is one of the best lines of stories on the shelves today and honestly gives me hope more

i nice refreshing issue. wasn't quite what i was expecting or hoping for, but it was still really good, and well done. Sophie Campbell once again shows she's as talented a writer as she is an artist. it was nice to get this Northampton II. plots that developed in Tmnt #29-32, and new plots from #50 and TMNT Universe #12-15 finally come to a head. the story was not fully concluded, though it does present some interesting possibilities for future stories. i'm now curious as to what we'll see happen with Karai, Splinter and the Foot Clan. but overall, not a lot happened in this issue. the art was really gorgeous. the panels depicting the astral plane were really well done. it was nice to see the quiet peaceful moments as well. more
