STEALTH ATTACK! Trailcutter has a problem: the Lost Light has been taken over by the Decepticons-and no one else seems to have noticed! Can the Autobots' defense strategist singlehandedly see off an army of infiltrators? And even if he does, will it convince his crew mates that he's got more to offer than kind words and forcefields?
As for the art, Matt Frank's work offers something that fits in with other Transformer titles. Its set on the lost light and uses well-known characters, meaning there isn't much room for deviation, but Frank does a good effort and filling every panel with detail if not color; the current Transformers titles often use flat colors and shading, and this Spotlight is no exception. All in all, Transformers Spotlight: Trailcutter is an excellent addition for any Transformer Fan. It has all the components of a good comic, and a Transformer story. Surprisingly, this may even be a good choice to read to your young one"for the moral of the story. but then again, the Bots are at the bar drinking"which is odd. This issue read a little elementary for me. I was hoping for some more action. Instead I read a lot, which is fine but the dialogue was dragging. The issue seemed to have a lesson which made it feel so young. Lesson for the day: be yourself, even if you can transform into different things. Wait does that make sense? Read Full Review
