Geeked Out Nation - Jess Camacho

A Voice in the Dark #6 inches us closer to when Zoey commits her next murder. It's been a thrilling ride and even though we know that she's going to do it, there's still so much suspense. The moment you finish reading this you'll be looking for issue #7 immediately but alas fans, we have to be patient. Making comics takes time but it'll no doubt pay off. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - James Anders II

I have previously mentioned the use of non color and how it works for this story as it gives a grainy detachment to its portrayal. It leaves the reader with an emptiness that captures what is going through Zoey's mind too. After reading some of the letters at the end of this one, it is becoming apparent that others are digging on the non color too. So much so, that Taylor is pondering if the next arc after this one should be done in color. My only advice to Mr. Taylor is to follow his heart on it. He has not had one misstep at all within this arc and I trust his judgment wholeheartedly. The man is a genius, A brilliant mad genius that has me craving each issue like some Pavlovian dog. Woof man, I say, woof. More please. Read Full Review

Expect things to end messily. Regardless of how things wind up panning out, A Voice in the Dark remains one of the most fun and surprising ongoing series in graphic storytelling currently on the market, and it deserves every bit of attention afforded to it. Read Full Review

    Backwards Compatible - Paul Fiander

On the whole I do feel the scene (and issue) is well handled, whether the first page spoiler was needed is a question for another time, but I for one love that books like this exist, unless things are spoken about in an open and honest way how do we expect society to change? Read Full Review

Comic Book Therapy - Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell

A Voice In The Dark is a dramatic and heavy story that feels like a TV show in comic book form. There isn't much of The Killing Game left to play, so it will be fascinating to see where Taylor takes things. Read Full Review
