This is a great time-traveling/dimensional travel story. It is filled with wonderful action sequences, fantastic character moments, and a deep look at the mind of a person who has lost their father for no reason at all and can't truly grieve and move on until she finds out the truth of his mysterious disappearance. ANTARCTICA #5 bristles with high-octane action and excellent art for a thrilling adventure to end the first arc. That said, the incomplete plot leaves too many gaps for the reader to fill in, making an already esoteric concept frustratingly confusing. Read Full Review
Hannah must deal not only with alternate versions of herself and loved ones, but also with a series of revelations that lead her to find out who her father is. The pain of grief intensifies with this whole new world.
The art it's very detailed, capturing facial expressions with a certain degree of hyperrealism, very reminiscent of the aesthetics of comics like Heavy Metal.
