Unleash The Fanboy - John McCubbin Jun 15, 2014

Aphrodite IX may be at it's conclusion but the story's far from over. Hawkins and Sejic bring the series to a fitting close having me itching for the Aphrodite IX/Cyber Force crossover. Highly recommended. Read Full Review

We The Nerdy - Adrienne Crean Jun 18, 2014

This futuristic comic was beautifully written and drawn to fit that era. It had many different techs, some we can imagine in this day and age, and of course some that just blow your mind with creativity. The action sequences were done carefully and clearly, not leaving you confused as to what was happening, and Sejic had a classic but beautiful way of sketching these characters. All-Comic - Joey Caswell Jun 23, 2014

The final installment in the solo Aphrodite IX series has to be read to be believed. For anyone who mightve been skeptical about the upcoming title, this will surely change your mind quickly. It was a tidy wrap-up that could have received a greater build-up, but fans will hardly be able to complain once theyve read the wonderful new story developments to be found here. There may have been a panel or two that felt a bit rushed or incomplete, but as a whole, the visuals in this book stand above almost anything else found in the medium, providing some of the best illustrated and colored images around. This was a perfectly satisfying end that really sets up some interesting plot points to tackle in the future. Read Full Review

Major Spoilers - Matthew Peterson Jun 18, 2014

I've been shocked at how good this series is before, mostly because of my grave dislike of the original material (which I didn't read until a year or so ago for the Major Spoilers Podcast trade paperback discussion), but I'm really impressed with the work here. The creators have put together a believable future world, with realistic consequences and a decent set of antagonists, while making our cyborg protagonist relatable and interesting for perhaps the first time (for me, anyway.) In short, Aphrodite IX #11 is a good'n, putting a new spin on the old concepts, with attractive art and some major steps forward for Aphrodite herself. Read Full Review
