“(SHE) DRUNK HISTORY,” Part Five
Thievery. Time travel. Double cross. REVENGE!!!
The heist of the century " the 19th century that is " comes to a dramatic conclusion in 'Chu' 10with a good few twists to the tale along the way. Saffron Chu knows what she wants and God help anyone who gets in her way. Smart, silly, and hopefully returning in 2022. Read Full Review

Whereas her brother's power was integral to every stage of the story, Saffron's personality is the star the show, and Layman and Boultwood perfected the proportions of this comic's recipe. Saffron needs a lot more development as a character, but if you don't mind a "darker" side to the Chew-niverse, this issue should get you very excited in regards to what comes next. Read Full Review
This is the most amazing comic book in the universe!!!!!
Probably the single strongest issue of the series for me and a perfect wrap up to the (She) Drunk History arc. Saffron Chu is constantly using her powers and some time traveling wine to stay one step ahead of everyone and her personality shines here, in addition to her smarts. Feels like Layman has finally settled into a core cast of characters, and while I'm still struggling to see the larger narrative at play, the book is so much fun that it doesn't matter.
