Corpse Knight #5 reveals there was plenty more lurking beneath the apparent ending of the previous issue. Michael Chaves fills in crucial pieces of Foy's history, including the truth about her parents and the church's sinister intentions, without making the explanations tedious. Matthew Roberts and Rico Renzi make the supernatural elements especially effective, culminating in a fantastic and disturbing final splash that changes Foy's place in the story. The pacing continues to feel better suited for a collected edition, but the revelations and final twist make this an important chapter. A haunting turning point packed with dark revelations and supernatural power. Read Full Review
