The whole totality of what's going on of course is kind of weird. There hasn't been enough of a breather for one moment to get back to really be able to get a strong sense of the background for what's going on. The plot twist at the end really feels like it makes a hell of a lot of sense to give us this situation. There have been lots of indicators throughout the series of things might be moving in a direction that couldn't end up being a little bit more outside around the traditional crime action series. Gehenna: Naked Aggression #4 delivers on the promise of visceral, stylish violence with creative choreography and sharp character beats, but its finale stumbles slightly with convenient wrap-ups and a less-than-thunderous final page. In truth this conclusion was probably the weakest of the mini series. The art and style were spot on but the ending was a little weak. To judge a book fairly on it's own I would say going forward this book ticks a whole lot of boxes. Like the writer said......the last word as always is the audience and I will be back for more next year.....JM
