And now, another unequivocal issue of...GERT IN SPACE! When we last left our struggling starlet, Gertrude was stuck in an infinite fantasy hell-loop of her own making. Meanwhile, Fairyland favorites Larry and Duncan Dragon possess a desperate dream and await a demonic deliverable in their last-ditch effort to clear the skies of an imposing and oppressive darkness. Gertrude may not want to be the heroine Fairyland wants, but for at least one last time, she's apparently stuck being the heroine they are obliged to deserve!
Skottie Young's I Hate Fairyland is bonkers even as it marches towards the end and that might be what works best about the book. Read Full Review
I Hate Fairyland #19 confirmed my fears about this book. Its a one-joke comic with a miserable protagonist, and the art is the only thing about any of this that works consistently. As a result, I cant recommend it. Give it a pass. Read Full Review
