SERIES FINALE
BURST: "This continues to be a must-read horror series." -Sequential Planet
Witness the thrilling, action-packed final issue of I HATE THIS PLACE to see if it concludes with the literal end of the world and massive amounts of death...or a "happy" ending for our beloved heroines.
(If we're being honest, it could really go either way.)
The terrifying world of monsters and ghosts is met head-on by an intensely deep relationship that refuses to falter under any circumstance. Trudy and Gabbys final endeavor to save the world is brought to life by incredible writing and exceptional visuals to take readers into the closing events of a fantastic series. Highest possible recommendation this week for New Comic Book Day. Read Full Review
Topilin delivers some beautiful and thrilling art in this issue. The action is fantastic and I love the ominous moments with the horned man and how he moves throughout the story right up to the final moments. Read Full Review

Starks leaves it open for another series. Considering what Trudy and Gabby have already been through, theres a lot of potential in future issues if Starks is willing to return to their adventures. Its been a fun journey so far, and it would be nice to see what Starks would come up with to further explore the psyches, psychologies, and personalities of a couple of survivors like Trudy and Gabby. What a fun book. I'm gonna miss it.
I think I need to reread this series. I think the grade for this issue could go up or down depending on the experience. I do commend this series for coming up with something wild obscure and interesting. There's just a lot of threads for a book that started out as a haunted ranch.
