The Super Powered Fancast - Deron Generally Dec 4, 2024

Jesus Orellana delivers some great art in the issue. I really enjoyed the visual style a lot and how the visuals capture the tone and tension of the story. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff Dec 5, 2024

Orellana has developed a story that would work across multiple different formats. The clean architectural rendering of the facility along with the clever presentation of the drama make it all feel remarkably well-designed from the ground up. Graphic Policy - Brett Dec 4, 2024

Juvenile #1 shows potential. The comic doesn't quite stand out but it feels like a debut that's going to build into an interesting read and the whole might be stronger than the individual parts. Overall, it's not a series that feels totally original but it still feels like one that should get better as it gets further into the story. Read Full Review

Most of the characters are blank slates, and exploration of the concept raises more questions than it needs to. But Juvenile #1 is extremely good at communicating narrative via art and color. For that it absolutely deserves a look and a chance for the story to live up to the first issues artistic promise. Read Full Review
