So once again, Nailbiter proves why its one of the best (perhaps the best) comics being published right now. Nailbiter #17 widens the scope of the plot beyond the borders of Buckaroo. Serial killers in that town are now the least of their problems, and their problems still all lead back to Buckaroo where it all began. No matter where everyone is now, they still have a part in this mystery and it will be exciting to see how they handle themselves working from a different angle. Read Full Review

Barker's increasingly violent fantasies make for fun reading, just because it is an interesting way to depict somebody's descent into psychopathy. The fact that they're cute and funny can't quite sustain the book. Nailbiter has taken a few good steps in the right direction, but this book will need a few more of those. Read Full Review
