Tempers flare as the horrors from the nuclear fallout creep ever closer to Old Joe's Diner.
This issue does an excellent job of building the tension of the story well, continuing to slowly reveal the world and whats actually happening. Chris Condon is putting on a masterclass in how to build suspense and really make the reader dread what is coming next. However, at the same time he is weaving in some real messages about racism and the distrust of the government. Being able to walk the lines of horror, entertainment, and delivering a message and doing it seamlessly speaks volumes for Condons writing. Read Full Review
News from the Fallout #2 continues the forward momentum of the debut issue, immersing readers in a world soaked with nuclear age paranoia and horror while offering deeper insight into its characters. Its a mistake to discount News from the Fallout #2 based on the seemingly limited art. The issue invites readers to go through it quickly because on first glance, there is very little going on visually. This was the case with the first issue. But in truth, the art deserves significant consideration. This series continues to show how art can tell stories in different ways in comic books. News from the Fallout #2 is an excellent example of how less can be more when it comes to visual storytelling. Read Full Review
