    If Prophet dropped off your pull list shortly after its relaunch by Graham in 2012 either because it was too weird or art wasn't Steve Platt enough for you, fine. To be honest you haven't missed much especially where continuity and other narrative fetishes like 'plot' are concerned. Prophet occupies a pocket universe in mainstream comics as much as any title from an Eisner winner (Graham) with distribution by a publisher who has cannily aligned itself with creator-owned content could ever wish to achieve. In some far flung future, Prophet will be a departure point for the promise of comics. Marks as pictures, marks as words, fuck yeah. Read Full Review

    In short, it's not a bad issue and while long time readers might want it for their collection, it's one of those issues you can easily skip over when going back through the collection. It's certainly pleasant, but it just doesn't add anything to the ongoing title. Read Full Review

    Remains one of the best comics out there as far as I'm concerned. It's certainly easier to read in collected volumes, but I find the single issues to be great as well. Sad that this series is ending, but I look forward to what Graham and co. have in the works next.
