NEW STORY ARC
"EVERSAUL, 1981," Part One-THAT TEXAS BLOOD returns with a BRAND-NEW STORY ARC! Following the traumatic and bloody conclusion of "A BROTHER'S CONSCIENCE," Joe Bob reminisces about one of his first cases: a haunting and bizarre evening that left a boy dead, a girl missing, a cult on the loose, and introduced a mysterious man called Harlan Eversaul.
That Texas Blood #7 is a continuation of the series that is paving the way for neo-westerns while reinventing itself. The series is winding down the scarier side of crime fiction that has elements of horror and suspense. This issue is a good jumping on point and is a gift to new readers and hardcore crime fiction aficionados alike. Bravo! Read Full Review

Its good too have this series back and it seems like an interesting concept. Its got the start to another good arc.
The beginning of the new story arc is intriguing. As you might expect, the action is slow, so far it's just a display, but I liked our senior sheriff so far, so it's good to see that this time the story will be about a matter in his past.
I am pleased with the quality of this issue.
