Li'l Depressed Boy is a series that isn't afraid to take its time, which is perhaps the most remarkable thing about it. Small, relatively inconsequential happenings are played out in multiple panels, sometimes across pages. At one point, LDB walks home listening to music with a simple, happy smile on his face, and a pretty sky behind him. This issue is representative of a series that breaks convention by seeing the emotion in little things as infinitely compelling and fascinating. Read Full Review

LDB is pretty cheery so far. I'm happy for him since I've grown attached to the character over the years. But "depressed" is in the title. Perhaps a name change to Li'l Pretty Much Doing Alright Boy.
