What a beautiful story. I can't decide whether I would've liked it to be a 5-6 issue mini or if it worked better as an OGN, but either way, this was a harrowing yet heartwarming apocalyptic tale featuring superb writing from Gillen and some absolutely stunning artwork from the hyper-talented Stephanie Hans. It was a relatively quick read, but it's the kind of story that sticks with you after you finish, and I can definitely see myself revisiting it again in the future.
