Witchblade bearer Sara Pezzini has discovered the shocking identity of the new Angelus host, and now faces a decision with universe-shattering consequences. Does she dare confront the Angelus, and risk destroying not only the universal balance, but even the very fabric of reality?
Witchblade #178 does not re-invent the supernatural wheelhouse that allowed this title to thrive, but it does show how innately bad-ass Sara Pezzini can be. And for that reason this comic comes recommended. Read Full Review
Witchblade 178 is a great book, whilst it is part of a larger story as a whole, anyone can pick up this book and have fun with it. Fans will be pleased to see Sara put the Darkness and Jackie Estacado behind her and move on into the future with new stories and possibilities. In conclusion then, Witchblade #178 is another stellar issue from the excellent creative team that continue to keep the book incredibly entertaining. It really is top notch stuff. Read Full Review

Expected a little more but still enough to enjoy what was there.
It's very bizarre the way Rooney's jacket changes colour from magenta to purple and back again, how does that happen? Aside from that the art looks good. The story is alright, fairly short because the issue is essentially one fight. I like it, it could just benefit from a little more substance and character.
