When Setsu moves to a high school in Tokyo, he learns that his classmate, Shuri Maeda, is planning to create a "Tsugaru Shamisen Club." He doesn't understand why Shuri wants to start a shamisen club even though she doesn't know anything about it. However, Setsu suddenly recognize a familiar melody on Shuri's mobile phone, which is undoubtedly a phrase from "Dawn of a spring day," the song left behind by Setsu's grandfather...
