On the way to a human stronghold, Grimbel knows of, the Crusader and Grimbel come face to face with The Masters' henchman, Pilgrim. Between the town guards, Pilgrim, and his own temper, the Crusader might be even more lost than when he arrived.
Crusader speaks to me not just because of all the dope sword fights but because those battles forge a path for this story. The fact that more is being done to ground and extend these characters and make us question who is doing what and why feels like a victory worthy of celebrating. Read Full Review
CRUSADER #2 wanders around and explores the realm as the Templar Knight haphazardly looks for help getting home. Emmonss individual scenes are interesting, the fights are exciting, and the art is serviceable, but its too soon to tell if this series is going anywhere. Read Full Review
