Speed Racer #4 is another slam dunk issue in this outstanding series. Human emotion leads to a great deal of awesome suspense. Well, the racing action gets the readers' heart pounding. The cliffhanger end is reminiscent of the Batman tv series and serves as a great homage. Every month this series delivers and is a highlight of my Pull List. If Speed Racer isn't on your Pull List yet, don't wait any longer, add it NOW! Read Full Review

Speed Racer #4 was another solid issue, the storyline is getting a little tired and sort of in the way of the real reason I read this book ... the races. Something about the way Pepose writes them and then Tinto illustrates what’s on the page - really gives the sensation of speed … it's hard to explain - but they nail it. As I said the story is starting to drag on … but that’s really a paper-thin setup for a fun FAST comic.
