Despite my criticism of the book being hard to understand if you're not a fan of the two more obscure series, I also appreciate it on some level since both series are due for the chopping block. It only seems natural that the creative teams would want to send them off in a way that the people who helped support the books in the first place would appreciate, and even without that appreciation, the art and the writing are enough to stand firmly on their own and establish plenty. This issue has two pencillers. Andre Araujo handles the scenes set in the 616 universe, while Renato Arlem lends his usual touch to the AoA universe. If there wasn't more of the story going on through the rest of the crossover I'd probably be even more annoyed with how they treated the end of this book. From bad art to no real finalization to only touching on the characters with how many are in play it was a let down. As a crossover issue it was fine (aside from the art) as the last issue of a series, even a short one, it was a letdown. Read Full Review

AoA is a title that is well-deserving of praise, but unfortunately doesn't go out on top. Read Full Review
