Alien Paradiso #1 is goofy fun. Take Aliens and throw it into a vacation setting. That's the basis here and it should be entertaining to see how it all shakes out. Any longtime fan of the comic series is going to know exactly what they are getting with yet another Alien #1. The writing is good, the art is outstanding, but my quarrel with the Alien series is that it is always much of the same. Once again we are thrown into a new story that feels very similar to other Alien stories with a slightly different cast, plot, and setting. Personally I just want to see Alien try something a little different and please god do it for more than 5 or 6 issues. With all that being said, this is in no way a bad comic which is why I give it a very solid 7.5.
