(#1) Northstar talks to a psychologist about Aurora's Jeanne-Marie personality. Her Aurora personality returns after a purse snatching. Northstar's father figure, Raymonde Belmonde, is murdered by mobster Ernest St. Ives by touching his face. St. Ives kidnaps Aurora, thinking she is Raymonde's daughter. St. Ives wants Belmonde's restaurant business.
(#2) Archaeologist Richard Easton conceives a child with Nelvanna, the goddess of the Northern Lights. Strangely, Easton returns nine years later to the now closed archaeological site. A year later, Shaman uses his magic to deliver Nelvanna's child, who becomes Snowbird. (Cover date: February, 1984)
