Spider-Man meets a worthy adversary in the cyborg Ramrod. Spidey saves some of his fellow students during Ramrod's on-campus attack, but must don the mask again during a night out in Brooklyn! An entire bar of people start behaving violently after a free round of beer, and Peter suspects the drinks have been laced with a mood-altering agent!

After an ESU professor is coerced into developing a poison for Ramrod, Ramrod uses it against the patrons of a bar in act of revenge. Spidey must fight his way past Ramrod to deliver the antidote in time or the patrons will die. (Cover date: October, 1981)
