(Cover Date: January, 1970) Summary: Disguised as Captain Stacy, the Chameleon steals priceless paintings from the museum while Peter & Gwen are in attendance. They return to the Stacys' apartment to find that Captain Stacy is still there & in a state of confusion. Peter suspects the Chameleon is involved & has Robbie headline a story in the Daily Bugle to draw him out. Later, Peter is taking pictures at the location where a large bond transaction is to take place. He then looks for the Chameleon as Spidey. Spidey interrupts the transaction meeting when his Spider-Sense alerts him, but he can't identity which person in the room is the Chameleon.
