    Is this a strong, fun read in its own right? Absolutely. With some gorgeous artwork, an action-driven plot with plenty of character and a new format to explore, the potential for this line is infinite.     By itself, Avengers vs. X-Men: Infinite #1 is simply an enjoyable and lavishly illustrated story featuring the latest hero to call himself Nova. But it also marks the beginning of a promising new approach to digital comics. Frankly, I'd be much more keen to embrace digital fully if more books read as cleanly and elegantly as this.
