This issue sets up the endgame for Cable, Avery, and the Conclave. Beautiful images are paramount to the story. Cable waxes poetic about philosophy, history, and his outlook on life. There's a little less action than we've been accustomed to, but it's still there and it's still a lot of fun! This series as been a dark horse success and I have a good feeling that David Pepose will take us to new heights before it's all said and done. That's a wrap for me, but feel free to continue the conversation in the comments! Read Full Review

As we reach the halfway point on the five-issue mini-series, it is clear that the creative team has locked in on what makes this character so beloved by readers. Cable's newfound connection with Resistance leader Avery Ryder has added a new layer of intrigue and energy that we haven't seen before. As we look to the future with these final installments, I'm excited to see how the team plans to leverage time-travel shenanigans to potentially grant a happy outcome for the man out of time. That being said, I truly hope that we get either another mini-series or ongoing series with this creative team, because they've captured something special here. Read Full Review
