Ugh. Having Kingpin's goons dose everyone in the flashback so they didn't remember things in the present is such a tacky bit of writing. That sucks so much and is a terrible way to kick things off with the final issue of the Kruel saga and Chichester's time as the head of Daredevil. I was mostly okay with this story arc compared to Chichester's worst comics, but this was not a great way to wrap things up.

Kingpin and Daredevil teaming up to take on Kruel is fun, at least, even if it wasn't handled well at all. We've spent an entire story arc as readers learning about Kruel, so having Kingpin also explain it to Daredevil is a waste of time. So many plot points just don't work with me, like Karen Page ultimately hiring on John more
