ELEKTRA'S LAST STAND! There are not many characters in the Marvel Universe with the determination, grit and guts to outmatch Elektra Natchios, A.K.A. the Woman Without Fear DAREDEVIL - but in her far-reaching, bloody campaign to conquer New York, Madame Masque has done just that! With a blade literally at her throat, it will take all of Elektra's resolve to save not only herself, but her neighborhood...and the toll will be incredibly high!

Daredevil: Gang War #4 manages to deliver one genuine surprise in its final issue but seems uncertain what to do with it. Read Full Review
In terms of plot, this resolution/epilogue is a little ambiguous and potentially unsatisfying.
But the art is magnificent, the dialogue is sharp, and the character work is intense. Elektra tugs on the thematic threads that link her to Bellona, and she undergoes some genuine change and growth that REALLY need to be followed up on. Plus, there's a charming dessert of comedic interactions with both Spider-Men.
While this series strayed in the middle, struggling to dig enough compelling content out of the Gang War event, here at the end, it makes a powerful pitch for an ongoing series, a la Spider-Woman.
I read on a Marvel Unlimited delay (plus I'm way behind). But sometimes that's a blessing: I'm happy to look more
The highlights are the interactions between Elektra and the Spider-Men; this series has done a good job establishing Elektra’s new place in the Marvel universe and further cementing her new status quo. The plot left something to be desired, though. The villain dragged this issue down considerably.
I just read through it a second time and enjoyed it even more and bumped my score up.
Art: 3.5/5
Story: 3.5/5
Total: 7/10
I liked this, but I also didn't really understand why we needed it. I understand that Elektra and Bellona didn't have their one-on-one fight, but I just wasn't as interested in this as I think I could have been had this been executed a bit better. Either way, I thought this was solid for what it was.
This didn't feel like an issue that needed to be printed, but it wasn't necessarily bad. Elektra's obsession with Bellona never made sense, especially since Bellona was never a major part of the larger Gang War story. I'd love to see what the creative team could do with an Elektra-solo book, as Erica Schultz has shown she can really capture Elektra's voice and Sergio Davila drew a gorgeous book. We gotta get the character back to having her own motivations and not just doing things because of what Matt wanted of her.
