    The Tribunal convince the original Defenders to leave the group to save Earth in the future. Working for the Secret Empire, Mad Dog & the Mutant Force attack the super-heroes attending Patsy's & Daimon's wedding. After the melee is over, the new Defenders are born as an official team.
