A unique entry-point that's perfect for new fans and longtime readers alike! Danny Rand has been a lot of things: an orphan, a billionaire, a hero for hire, and the Immortal Iron Fist. He holds the ancient mantle and power of the Iron Fist that has been passed down through the generations but now he faces his most difficult challenge yet: being a mentor and teacher to Pei, a monk from K'un-Lun and the youngest person to ever bear the mark of the Iron Fist. While Pei tackles the trials of training and high school, Danny discovers there's another threat on the horizon, one that might take more than one pair of Iron Fists to defeat!
A Young Adult series that still feels like an Iron Fist book. It's a fun adventure piece, even though it may at times skew more toward the 'Adult' half of YA literature. Read Full Review
I was a really big fan of Kaare Andrews Iron Fist The Living Weapon run and when this series was announced last year I was very excited to see Pei back and have a follow up to her story. Kaare Andrews delivers a very intriguing story in Iron Fists #1. It is too bad the art just does not fit the series. The faces and characters just feel really out of place and take the reader out of the story. Read Full Review
No teenager acts like they do in this comic, no one asked for this new Iron Fist who is a diversity call that was there to please the racist critics of the Iron Fist Netflix series who had a problem with Danny being white. The art is horrendous, pigs are the villains of this comic, yes PIGS!!!!, not to mention they destroyed the bridge in the beginning with zero ramifications. Go read the current Iron Fist series by Ed Brisson and not this piece of junk. Seriously, the current Iron Fist is amazing!!! I also convinced whoever gave this issue a 10 is a clear crazy. A 10? Seriously? I bet they gave America a 10 as well.
