Summary: While the Hulk is still at Alan Quartermain's home, the Leader tasks Half-Life with trying to kill him, although he doesn't think he will succeed. After absorbing most of the Hulk's energy, the Hulk makes him realize that he can never be normal again as he thinks he will. Not wanting to continue living as Half-Life, he commits suicide by releasing all of the energy he absorbed, which restores the Hulk to normal. Meanwhile, the leader has had his androids capture Betty, Laroquette & Saunders to serve as pawns in his plan to eliminate the Hulk.
