Justin Hammer has access to Tony Stark's technology, and Iron Man won't stand for it! But Tony is losing allies right and left -- with the police, S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers all determined to stop him! When Iron Man battles the government-sponsored Mandroids, the Captain (Steve Rogers, the once and future Captain America) steps in to talk some sense into Stark!

(Cover Date: February, 1988) Summary: Iron Man disables the Beetle's armor after the villain threatens people at a charity auction. Tony agrees to help Nick Fury capture Iron Man, who he had "fired" recently for his recent actions. Tony leads SHIELD to his summer home in upstate NY, where he says Iron Man is hiding. As Iron Man, he ambushes & disables SHIELD's five Mandroids. Later, he meets with Steve Rogers, who is no longer Captain America, to provide him a shield.
