Summary: Tony Stark is alive but banged up after his one-sided fight against Firepower. He & Rhodey recount how they remotely controlled the Iron Man armor that Firepower blew up with a Terminax missile. Edwin Cord uses Firepower to disrupt business at Stark Enterprises & its subsidiaries. Cord tells Tony to quit in revenge for what he did to him. Tony builds a more advanced, red & gold version of his armor to deal with Firepower. After Firepower attacks a new SE branch, he is confronted by the new Iron Man. Iron Man easily beats Firepower with his new technology. As a last resort, Firepower tries to use his Terminax missile against his foe, but it was wedged in his armor during the fighting. Iron Man uses an EMP pulse to gain time to determine the cancel code for the activated missile. Afterwards, Tony realizes that he cannot destroy the new armor & retire as Iron Man, as planned, due to the threats that will continue to arise. more
