This is a book that will only get better upon each re-read as you will always find something new packed away in a page that you hadn't before. If you aren't reading this book, you are doing yourself a great disservice. Read Full Review

    Newsarama - David Pepose Nov 6, 2013

And that's really what Marvel Knights Spider-Man is about here - we've seen Spider-Man fight people before. We've seen him overcome impossible odds. But what we haven't seen is him looking so damn good while doing it. This is a more daring, more artsy, more experimental take on the Webslinger than we've seen in quite some time, and Matt Kindt and Marco Rudy pull their story off magnificently. Spider-Man may have 99 problems, but his creative team sure ain't one. Read Full Review

The series has been one wild ride so far, and this issue's cliffhanger adds an air of mystery that really makes you look forward to reading the next one. If you miss Peter Parker as much as I do, then this is certainly the book for you. The title of this run of Marvel Knights Spider-Man promises "99 Problems"" and trust me, quality ain't one. Comic Vine - Tony 'G-Man' Guerrero Nov 6, 2013

This is a great use of the Marvel Knights imprint. We get a slightly darker story presented with a great variety of art style. Matt Kindt has placed Spider-Man in an interesting situation, forced to face numerous enemies while Marco Rudy provides the art in a way we really haven't seen before in a Spider-Man comic. If you've been missing Peter Parker or just want to see a story that doesn't have to be tied to the current continuity, this is a great story to check out. You'll be blown away by the visuals and get to witness Spider-Man fight like he's never fought before. Read Full Review

    Comics: The Gathering - kanchilr1 Nov 7, 2013

With the writer sitting back and letting his artist breath, Marvel Knights Spider-Man is wildly innovative. There is no risk that this comic book will not take in adapting 99 villains into one short story. Fans of the medium should indefinitely have on eye on this series. Read Full Review

    We The Nerdy - Jean-Luc Botbyl Nov 11, 2013

Of course, Marco Rudy's art is just as important to this book's success as Matt Kindt's writing. There's always so much going on, and it makes the book feel very surreal. Its hard to know what I'm experiencing, and what to expect. The way Rudy draws it, it sometimes seems like ot could be real life, a dream or a video game, but I'm never really sure. It would, of course, be better if the plot were a little stronger, but this is very much like a popcorn movie. Read Full Review
