Jul 01, 2026This was a fun, silly issue. The stories were everything from short and creative to hilarious and one long inside joke for Marvel fans. These are some of the best one-shots. You put away the superpowers and just strip characters down to their personality. In a personality-filled world like the Marvel universe, there’s enough character to go around, and this issue makes perfect use of that. Read Full Review

Jul 01, 2026Marvel Swimsuit Special: Brand New Beach Day succeeds because it understands exactly what it wants to be: a lighthearted, occasionally horny, and often funny celebration of Marvel's characters. While not every story lands equally, the anthology's willingness to embrace absurdity, nostalgia, and summer vibes makes it an enjoyable read throughout. Strong pinup work, standout contributions from Kibblesmith and Ziglar, and a healthy appreciation for Marvel history help elevate the special beyond a simple novelty. Sometimes comics are at their best when they're willing to have a little fun in the sun. Read Full Review

This comic features several short stories filled with comedy, beaches, and sexy superhero bodies, separated by steamy splash pages from different artists:

-DANGER BY THE LAKE by Anthony Oliveira, Pablo Collar, and Rachelle Rosenberg: MJ, Peter, and Johnny Storm have a beach day that's interrupted by a symbiote.
-MOON NIGHTS by Dan Schkade and Rachelle Rosenberg: Moon Knight's personalities have different more+ Like • Comment -

It doesn’t get any better than J. Scott Campbell’s cover – there’s no point in even looking inside, unless you want to torture yourself.
There are exactly zero artists on this book that are capable of drawing sensual, sexy bodies, much less correct anatomy. Phil Noto at least provides some solid pages, but his figures, as much as I usually like them, possess the sexiness of Anne of Green Gables. It's like Marvel wanted to put out a swimsuit issue for people who hate swimsuit issues. They even do stupid stories in swimsuit issues instead of the sexist, body shaming filth my generation used to enjoy. Unfortunately the woke crowd Marvel is catering to doesn't buy as many comics as Marvel wants them to.
So, please, don't waste more
